It’s never easy being the person in the office responsible for “nagging”. In our accounting department, Kim Blair has that responsibly. Kim has to do this on a weekly basis; from reminding our crew to get their time cards in, to asking our foreman to let her know what percentage of our jobs are done so billing can be completed, to even reminding Tony that contracts need to be signed.
Retrofit struggled for many years to find the right person for this position, but Kim has proven time and again, that she IS the right person! She has the ability to balance between being sweet, patient, and accommodating, to firm when the situation demands it. It is never easy to ask for money, but when our customers fall behind, she is on it. Our customers soon realize that it’s easier to pay the bill, than to have Kim after them.
Kim’s role isn’t to make everyone happy; it is to keep the company in the black. This ultimately plays a KEY role in Retrofit’s success, which Kim is a key contributor to. Tony is very proud to have her as part of his team.
