When Tony talks about Retrofit, he describes it as a family business. What he means is, not only do we treat our employees as family, but some of them actually are family! Kris has literally grown up with Retrofit. Tony says, as a father, you give your son a job with your company in hopes that he won’t be the stereotype of a slacker son who only has a job because his dad owns the company. Kris has by far exceeded Tony’s expectations! Kris has literally done every job in the company and does it very well!
Kris is extremely creative and actually an accomplished “Graffiti” artist as well as custom metal fabricator. Kris’s ability to visualize what the finished product will look like, as well as what can be done to make it better, is a huge factor in his success. Kris will do whatever is asked of him. His work ethic and job skills are a perfect example of what Tony expects from his employees. Tony is proud to have Kris be a part of the business, but even more proud as a father, of the man he has become.
