Employee Spotlight

November 2016

There are certain gut decisions that Tony has made over the years that have turned out to be pretty solid. Hiring Zaid Saadeh was one of those.   When he heard that Zaid was here from Jordon to finish his Master’s degree at the University of Redlands and was looking for a job, Tony thought that he would be able to help us in the office with some busy work.

What Tony didn’t realize was that Zaid is literally a genius.  Starting him with busy work led to re-writing our estimating software, creating a system for tool inventory, and he is in the process of creating a new way of tracking our parts inventory.  Not only that, he has modified our job master spreadsheets to track our job costs and installed alerts so we are notified if something is out of budget before it’s too late to fix it. Everything that Zaid has re-done, works 100 times better and easier than it did before.

There is no doubt that Zaid is an asset to Retrofit. He has made and continues to make us stronger and more efficient.  We don’t know how we ever got by without him or what we will do if he finishes his Master’s Degree and decides to take on the world!
