Central Plant Renovation

Retrofit Technology performed a complete central plant renovation at the Westin LAX in Los Angeles, CA.  Some of the renovations on this project include the removal of 3 existing chillers and replacing them with 2 new chillers and a new plate and frame heat exchanger for free cooling, insulation of the chilled water lines, installation of a new refrigerant monitoring system, reconnection of the existing condenser piping and chilled water piping to the new chillers and pumps, installation of 5 new VFD’s on the pumps, and installation of 3 secondary chilled water pumps and VFD’s.
