US Bank Tower

We were on site at the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles, California to perform our final phase of this cooling tower replacement. Photographs show crane day, the removal and replacement of the last of three cooling towers as well as the removal of the existing carbon steel condenser water piping and it's replacement with stainless steel pipe and welded fittings.  The new cooling towers have a combined total capacity of 3,000 tons of cooling and are 100% stainless steel.  Because the new headers were fabricated in our shop and installed without any field welds, we were able to keep the time that the plant was shut down for crossover to about 3 1/2 hours, which was less than half the time the customer requested and a fraction of the time our competition needed.
